As its new president, I would like to welcome you to the new website of the Cleveland Institute of Music. This website seems to have captured the sense of joy in music that radiates from our school and I hope that, as you enter, you will use your imagination to get a true feeling for what makes our school such a special place to master the art of musical expression.
Cleveland is a relatively small city with a history of big culture and how wonderful that is. And, similarly, we are a relatively small independent conservatory with a world-class faculty in all departments. Indeed, a school's faculty is its true educational resource and we are proud to have 35 members of the great Cleveland Orchestra as faculty members of the orchestral instruments...
